She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Mauney and Minnie Huntsinger Mauney; and her husband Henry C. Deck. She is survived by: her sons, Michael H. Deck (Robin) and Terry E. Deck (Deborah); and her grandchildren, Lauren Crotts (John), Lindsey Bright (Kyle), Justin Melton (Krystal) and Aaron Deck (Katrina).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adaville Baptist Church Cemetery (805 Oakland Rd, Spindale, NC 28160). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Adaville Baptist Church (805 Oakland Rd, Spindale, NC 28160). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Eternal Hills Memorial Park (1565 Oakland Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
