He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wiseman Splawn and Eula Murray Splawn. He is survived by: his son Ray Splawn (Krystal) of Rutherfordton; his grandchildren, Harley Loper, Kelcey Jackson and Navada Splawn; and his great grandchildren, R. J. Jackson, Kailyn Loper and Hannah Loper.
