We announce the death of Sharon Cunningham (Rutherfordton, North Carolina), who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Reader and Mary Dyer Reader; her husband Robert Cunningham; and her sister Carol Sue Reader. She is survived by: her children, Robert Cunningham II and Stephani Cunningham Ruppe (Anthony); her grandchildren, Katelynn Ruppe, Gwendolyn Earls (Jeremiah) and Evelynn Ruppe; her great grandchild John-Daniel Earls; her niece Heather Youngs; and her nephews, Eric Youngs, James Cunningham (Mary), John Cunningham (Holly) and Jay Cunningham (Beth).
