Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stephanie Lynn Callahan of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 53, on April 13, 2024. She is survived by : her parents, Ray Workman and Pat Workman; her husband Jack Callahan; her children, Ashley Mitchell (Ryan Hoyle) of Forest City and Joshua Mitchell (Dakota) of Inman, SC; her siblings, Charlotte Workman (Mark Whisnant) of Mooresboro and Jonathan Eplin (Emily) of Spindale; and her grandchildren, Halie Henson, Brantley Mitchell, Braxton Mitchell, Jackson McAbee, Maddox Henson and Colton Henson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Padgett & King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
