He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtis Hutchins and Ina Jane Freeman Hutchins; his wife Genell Horton Hutchins; and his brothers, James Hutchins, Marvin Hutchins and Jack Hutchins.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Edgerton (Mac) and Leonard Hutchins. He is also survived by his mother raise his brothers.
Interment will be at Brittain Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Jim Whitlow officiating, In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Brittain Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund; 129 Griffin Road; Forest City, NC 28043.
