He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Tesseneir and Nadine Greene Tesseneir. He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Boone of Forest City and Dawn Laughter of Rutherfordton; his siblings, Lora Turner of Rutherfordton, Dorothy Yelton of Forest City, Juanita Bunnell of Bostic, Gary Tessenair of Spindale and Thurman Tessenair of Shiloh; his grandchildren, Faith Boone, Hope Boone, Derick Boone, Moriah Elliott, Micah Laughter, Journi Mae Laughter, Elijah Laughter and T. J. Shade; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Boone, Olivia Elliott and Milo Elliott.
