He is survived by: his sister Margaret Lyde Guy of Cameron, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Earl Ivey, Willie Ivey, John W. Hollingsworth, Patricia Thompson, Martha Sue Hollingsworth, Karen Lyde, Tammy Lyde and Lisa Lyde.
