She was predeceased by: her parents, Hammie Howell Inman and Ruby Mary Kinlaw; her grandson B. J. Tyler; and her siblings, Harvey Inman Sr., Eddie Inman, Albert Inman, Woodrow Inman of Nathan Inman, H. H, Robert Inman, Elizabeth Inman, Ruby Dawson, Betty Madge Pate and Lessie Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert J. Ivey Jr. (Sherlean) of St. Pauls, Terry Lawrence Ivey of St. Pauls, P. Diane Dawson (Tony) of St. Pauls and Sheila T. Ivey (Bobby Monroe) of Dunn, NC.; her siblings, Nathan Davis of Hope Mills, Danny Inman of Southport, Susie Connors of Kernersville and Ann Pate of Lumberton, NC.; and her grandchildren, Trey Ivey, Joseph Ivey, Lesleigh Ivey, Austin Ivey, Mary-Kaitlyn Ivey, Crystal Ivey, Jonathan Tyler, Coty Dawson, Brittany Jenkins, Heather Allen and J. C. Norris. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNeill Legacy Funeral Home (319 W Broad St, St Pauls, NC 28384). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
