She was predeceased by: her parents, Casher Woods and Veola Woods; her husband Leon Humphry; the father of her children Eartle Hammonds; her children, Anthony Ray Hammonds, Sherby Jane Oxendine and Earlie Hammonds; and her grandson Tony Locklear.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Hammonds of St. Pauls and Anita Hunt of Pembroke. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Pauls Holiness Church (10341 Barker 10 Mile Rd, St Pauls, NC 28384). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at the same location.
