She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Carson and Elizar Locklear; her son David Peña; and her brothers, Wayne, Lloyd, Robert, Jimmy and Marshall Locklear.
She is survived by: her siblings, Katie Soto, Gracie Locklear, Willie Locklear Jr., Marlyn Locklear and Melvin Locklear; her husband Gilbert Peña Jr.; her children, Gilmer Peña (Norma) of Raeford, Monica Peña of Raeford, Dalinda Mata (Mark) of Premont, Texas. and Alex Peña (Norma) of Premont, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Jacinto Espinoza, Alexander Espinoza, Daniel Revilla, McKayla Peña, Ariah Peña, Reanna Peña, Amy Revilla, Matthew Peña, John Ivey, Sheyenne Peña, Raven Peña, Emilee Peña, Ruben Peña, Estella Peña, Esteban Peña, Jace Carter, Serinity Peña, Malachi Peña, Josiah Rozell, Emma Mata and Mark Mata Jr.. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint Paul's Funeral Home (565 W McLean St, St Pauls, NC 28384). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
