He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Smith and Hugh Jack Smith; his son Rev. Gerald Smith; and his siblings, Eugene Smith, Jimmy Smith, Artis Wayne "Bunker" Smith, Jackie Ray "Stewart" Smith (Sam Locklear), Betty Jane and Argie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Smith; his son Rev. Harold Smith (Stephanie); his daughter-in-law Felecia Smith; his siblings, Mitchell Oxendine and Lois; his grandchildren, Derren, Kendrick, Gavin, Fallon, Madisann and Kinsley; and his nephew Mickey Oxendine (Kaye). He is also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren.
