With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Sherrill Strickland of Salemburg, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Strickland and Roxie Baggett Strickland; his wife Pauline Royal Strickland; and his siblings, Charles, Frederick (Vondia Strickland), Elizabeth Ann Fann (W. C. Fann) and Peggy Boone (Jasper Boone).
He is survived by: his brother Jefferson (Sue); his children, Elaine Strickland Deal (Walt), Sherrill Strickland (Rhonda), Amy Strickland Ennis (Stuart), Bryan Strickland (Virginia), Burroughs, Wallace and Clint Strickland (Allie); his grandchildren, Carter, Murray Miles and Watson; his son Jonathan Ennis (Amanda); his grandsons, Brody and Owen; and his children, Hannah Ennis, Peyton Strickland McCabe (Patrick) and Lawson Strickland. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
