Albert Donald McKnight Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Donald McKnight (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Deaton and Wilma Albright McKnight; and his brother Marcus Deaton McKnight, Jr. (M. D.). He is survived by: his children, Tommy Douglas McKnight (Debbie) of Winterville, Perry Dean McKnight (Robin) of Salisbury and Julie McKnight (Hurley Stanley) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Kristina McKnight Stoker (Brian) of Statesville, Michael Douglas McKnight (Catherine) of Cary and Matthew Taylor McKnight (Judith) of Greenville; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Noah Stoker of Statesville, Jack, Madeline McKnight of Cary, Taylor and Amelia Kate McKnight of Greenville; his wife Priscilla Jones McKnight of Salisbury; his stepsons, Donnie Stowe of Concord and Steven Stowe (Libby) of King; his stepgrandchildren, Samantha and Christopher Stowe of King; his sisters, Grace McKnight Reynolds and Doris McKnight Sechler; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann McKnight of China Grove.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (5202 Mooresville Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
