It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Wayne Lawson (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bernard Lawson and Elwillie Geter Lawson; and his siblings, Bernard Lawson and Brenda Senoirs. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Lefler Lawson; his children, Bobby Lawson, Jr. (Nicole) of Jamestown and Catrina Fortson of Salisbury; his stepdaughter Amity Jordan (Mickey) of Statesville; and his siblings, Hezekiah Lawson of Salisbury, Charles Lawson of Concord, Gene Lawson of Kannapolis, Myron Lawson of China Grove, Beatrice Patterson of Kannapolis, Cynthia Wilkerson of Kannapolis and Teresa Chambers of Kannapolis. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
