Brenda Miller Harkey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Miller Harkey of Salisbury, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleatus Andrew Miller and Bertha Moose Miller; her daughter Samantha Lee Harkey; her brothers, Bobby Ray Miller and Jerry Wayne Miller; and her father-in-law Robert Lee "Bob" Harkey.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lee Harkey; her daughter Dr. Sabrina Elizabeth Harkey; her siblings, Cleatus A. Miller, Jr. (Pat) of Gibsonville, Joyce Miller Smith of Blanco, TX, Michael Lee Miller (Cindy) of Rockwell, Kenneth "Pete" Eugene Miller (Tammy) of Rockwell, James David Ford (Jamie) of Concord, Judy Miller Shue (Tim) of Rockwell, Melinda Miller Eagle (Ben) of Rockwell, Cathy Miller Keever of Kannapolis and Timmy Brian Miller (Lori) of Rockwell; her mother-in-law Ruby Harkey of Rockwell; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Harkey Baucom of Salisbury and Bradley Michael Harkey (Amanda) of Salisbury. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lower Stone Church (2410 Lower Stone Church Rd, Rockwell, NC 28138).
