It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buell Franklin Bailey (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell A. Bailey and Lucy Bailey Hale; his son Bryan Franklin Bailey; and his in-laws, Tip and Hazel Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Miller Bailey; his daughters, Christina Bailey Sterling of Lilburn, GA and Kimberly Bailey Murray of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Frank, Madison, Brycen, Kinsley and Tegan Claire Sterling; his brother Troy Bailey (Brenda) of Salisbury; his niece Melinda Roe; his brother Robert Bailey (Denise) of Vacaville, CA; his niece Crystal Van Kirk; his nephew Christopher Bailey; his cousin Amy Hess of Salisbury; and his pets, Max and Molly. He is also survived by other loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
