He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Patterson (Andy) and Kimberly Hardin (Mark); his grandchildren, Bailey Velazquez (Lucio), Taylor Ellington (Jared), Bronson Patterson, Brenna Patterson, Shelby Lane Ellington (Luke) and Courtney Ellington (Dan); and his great grandchildren, Marley, Jenny, Anthony, Graham, Caroline Grace and Mayson Lane.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church (9275 Bringle Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146).
