He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Willis Sherrill, Sr. and Lavelette C. Sherrill; his sister Sylvia Matthews (Jack); his nephew Jeff Matthews; his great-nephew Keith; his niece Susan Gillet; and his great-nephew David.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Chris Sherrill (Lynn) and Kimberly Nelson (Michael); his grandchildren, Charles C. Sherrill, Jr. (Brittany), Austin Sherrill, Carter and Claire Nelson; his great grandchild Blakely Sherrill; and his nephew John Matthews (Cheryl).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Salisbury (223 N Fulton St, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
