He is survived by: his wife Tammy Williams Shoaf; his children, Angel Lawing (Paul) and Tony Ennis (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Holden Lawing and Tallulah Ennis; his sisters, Patti Shoaf Boyd, Libby Shoaf, Kem Shoaf Smith (Thomas) and Tammy Shoaf Dial (Charles); and his nieces and nephews, Angela VanAllen (Jeremy), Jennifer Thrift, Mark Keller (Heather), Scott Boyd (Renee), Lisa Cain (Shannon), Tisha Christy (Anthony), Greg Rinehardt (Lindsay), Terri Dawn Knapp (Brandon), Mary Beth DeVos (Brandon), Justin Adam Shoaf, Maranda Marcum and Megan Hoggard (TJ).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
