He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Edward "Ed" Smithwick Sr. and Hattie Smithwick (Wilhoit). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smithwick; his grandchildren, Heaven Watson and Kyle Watson; his daughter Michelle Brown (Nate Brown); his grandchildren, Brennan Coslett, Wynter Brown, Phoenix Brown and Orion Brown; his great grandchild Andrea Godfrey (Michael Godfrey); his grandchildren, Aubreigh Watson, Lilly Elrod and Jackson Elrod; his brothers, Allen Smithwick (Darlene Smithwick), Jerry Smithwick (Janice Smithwick) and Joel Smithwick (Beth Smithwick); Flynn Godfrey. He is also survived by his wife, his kids, and grandkids.
