It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Smith Caudle of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Dewey O. Smith; and her siblings, Billy Smith of Goldsboro, Marjorie Hensley of Goldsboro and Lillie Jackson of Princeton. She is survived by: her children, Terrell Caudle of Salisbury, Janet Miller of Gold Hill, Brenda Lombard (Robert) of Rockwell and Jean Hall (Matt) of Salisbury. She is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wyatt's Grove Baptist Church (1810 Whitney Lane, Salisbury, NC 28146).
