Clara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Clara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinton Holmes, Sr. and Rosie Krider Holmes; and her grandson Shavice M. Tandy. She is survived by: her husband James Oliver Tandy, Jr.; her children, Marissa Tandy and Christopher Tandy; and her brothers, Quinton Holmes and Douglas Holmes (Shirley). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at 928 W Horah St, Salisbury, NC 28144. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
