It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton James Hagans of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hagans and Maude Frisbee Hagans; his wife Hilda Blackwelder Hagans; and his son Michael Hagans. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Young (Jerry); his sisters, Inez Whitson, Christine Wells (Alex Edders) and Bea Harkleroad; his grandsons, Brian Young (Patty) and Matthew Young (Julie); his great grandchildren, Cade Young, Reed Young and Chasity Young (Dale); and his great great grandchild Levi Young.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 1308 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677.
