He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Laverne Lowery; and his siblings, Tyrone Lowery (Rosa) of Winston-Salem, Carlos Lowery of Winston-Salem, Shirley Moss of Atlanta, Betty Branch (Chalmers) of Salisbury and Pamela Hoyle (Johnny) of Salisbury. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
