He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Goode and Leo Lee Myers; his brothers, Bobby and Bill Melton (Sharon) of Spartanburg, SC; and his nephew Tim Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Myers (Erin) of Woodleaf and Debbie Smith (Brandon) of Woodleaf; his sisters, Shirley Harris of Salisbury and Jane Criswell (Robert) of Lititz, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan Bean (Danielle), Kristen Bean, David Bean, Riley Myers, Aidan Myers and Lucas Myers; and his great grandchildren, Allison Parks, Caseyn Bean, Waylon Lanning, Landon Lanning and Bentley Bean.
