She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Boyd Shoemaker and Connie Belle Barker Shoemaker; her husband Clyde R. Pope; her daughter Carol Paulette Koontz; and her stepdaughter Bridget Purdy Lezon.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Davis (Kim), Rick Pope, Jr. (Judith) and Susan Pope Simpson (David); and her brother Bob Shoemaker (Phyllis). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
