She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Stanley Fleming and Vera Mabel Shoemaker Fleming; her husband James Carlton Overman; her son Joel Michael Hardison; and her siblings, Jancie F. Broadway, Earl Stanley "Flip" Fleming Jr., Darlene F. Motley, Sandra F. Fink and Mary Juarell Fleming.
She is survived by: her children, John Wayne Hardison (Arlene), Patricia Polk and Jeffrey Hardison (Teresa); her daughter-in-law Becky Hardison; and her aunt Eva Stewart. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
