He was predeceased by: his parents, JP Dye and Alice Dye McDonald (Proffitt); his wife Brenda Helton Dye; and his son Jimmy Dye. He is survived by: his sons, Eddie Dye and Michael Dye; his grandchildren, Cheyenne and Daniel; and his sisters, Terry, Glenna, Rose, Sherry and Cindy.
