She was predeceased by: her parents, D. H. Ray and Lillie Mae Ray; and her sister Sybil Ray. She is survived by: her husband Carl "Bub" Stoner; her son Matt Stoner (Jennifer Rose-Stoner); and her grandchildren, Shea Rose, Camerohn Rose and Declan Rose.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brookhill Memorial Gardens (8625 US-52, Rockwell, NC 28138).
