She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lynn Beaver and Jessie Beaulah Williams Beaver; her husband Harold Franklin Mills; and her children, Thomas Franklin Mills and Ellen Mills.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Brown of Salisbury; her children, David Mills of Advance, Curtis Mills of Lexington and Caroline Greene of Spencer; her grandchildren, Meridith Patterson, William Mills, Thomas Porter Baker and Conan Mills; and her great grandchild Yorke Patterson.
