He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorey Ethel Huffman Dancy and Otis P. Dancy; his wife Syble Williams Dancy; and his sister Margie Harrington. He is survived by: his children, Clinton Eugene Dancy (Amy) and Jackie Dancy Hart (Jeff); his brother Otis Sherrill Dancy; his grandsons, Justin Deaton, Adam Hart, Andrew Hart and Clinton Bradley Dancy; and his great grandchildren, Austin Deaton, Chloe Dancy and Madison McIntyre.

Memorials may be made to New Hope Lutheran Church, 1615 Brantley Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
