Gale B. Mangis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gale B. Mangis (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Anderson Mangis and Mae Gertrude Mangis; his wife Dorothy Griffith Mangis; his grandson Kyle Scott Mangis; and his siblings, Gerald Mangis (Merleen), Jess Mangis (Fran), Lorene Brown (Tony), Doris Douglas (Paul) and Ethel Sterett (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Smaltz of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Scott Mangis (Emi) of Hanapepe, HI and Lori Dale (Steve) of Wake Forest, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many adored nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, in memory of Gale Mangis.
