She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Leroy Peterson and Doris Moylan Peterson; and her brother LeRoy Melvin Peterson (Jan). She is survived by: her sibling's children, David, James, Richard Peterson and Susan Peterson Cooper.

A memorial service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM.

She was a member of the Historical Foundation, Hall House Committee, and a docent at the Hall House for several years.
