In the sacred silence of farewell, Glenda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Steelman Pendry and Ernest F. Pendry; her husband Roderick W. Fitzgerald; her son Shane Campbell of Black Mountain; and her sister Kay Todd of Yadkinville.
She is survived by: her sons, Rondall Campbell (BJ) and Timothy Campbell of Concord; her sisters, Barbara Felts (Charles) of Mocksville and Wanda Rogers (Bill) of Sorrento, FL; and her grandson Tyler Campbell. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haven Lutheran Church (207 W Harrison St, Salisbury, NC 28146). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
