It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Alphonso Lyles (Salisbury, North Carolina), who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Lyles and Mary Brown Hall. He is survived by: his wife Latieka Lyles; his son Dionte Newton of Washington, DC; his stepdaughter Avriyanna Miseheimer; his stepfather Anthony Hall of Salisbury; his siblings, Abraham Lyles, Jr (Litita) of Concord, Willie Lyles of Charlotte, Juanita Davis of Long Island and Sharon Lyles of New York; and his parents-in-law, Carla Caldwell of Kannapolis and Michael Caldwell of Concord. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
