It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gretchen Marion of Salisbury, North Carolina, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Arthur; her husband Kermit Michael Marion; and her sister Sally Busch. She is survived by: her sons, John Marion (Ann) of Whitsett, Eric Marion (Melissa) of High Point, Clay Marion (Jen) of Wake Forest and Casey Marion (Sun Ju) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Sammie Cassell (Dianna), Mikaela Marion, Callie Marion, Quinn Marion, Emma Marion and Lena Marion; her great grandchildren, Morgan and Ashley Meyers; and her siblings, Janie Jones of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Waldburg (Scottie) of Southern California.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army at 121 SW Cloverleaf Pl.
