He is survived by: his wife Nancy Barnhardt Overcash; his son Gregory Gene Overcash (Trudy) of Salisbury; his grandson Owen Gregory Overcash; and his siblings, Vernon Overcash (Janet) and Claudene Gale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church (4914 Old Beatty Ford Rd, China Grove, NC 28023). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
