He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Gray and Mary Harriet Summers Gray; and his siblings, John Lindsay Gray, Theodore Gray, Sr., Daniel "David" Cornelius Gray, Eva Mae Gray Sanders, Ruth Marie Gray Jones, Noami Gray, Lucille Gray, Doris Yvonne Gray and Sherry Jona Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Mildred Whiteside Gray; his daughters, Sapheria Riddick (James) of Statesville, Latonia Clark (Darrell) of Charlotte, April Gray of Claremont, NC and Ivy Gray; his grandchildren, Jamie Riddick of Statesville, NC, Jasmine Wilkins (Courtney) of Illinois, Jaliana Pearson of Claremont, NC, Ava Gray and Jamil; and his great grandchildren, Josiah Riddick-Reid, Nova Wilkins and Jaiden Riddick.
