She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Cain, Sr. and Hattie Williams Cain; her husband Coleman Palmer Jeter; her son Cary Donald Cain; her siblings, William Henry Cain, Jr., Julius Cain, Annie Cain Jacobs, Ardell Cain Roan and Mary Cain Shields; and her siblings' children, Gloria Cain King and William Henry Cain III.
She is survived by: her sister Hazel Lyerly of Philadelphia, PA; her brother-in-law Theodore Shields; her daughter-in-law Maxine Spann Cain; her grandchildren, Cary Cain, II (Lori) of Durham, NC, Malia Cain of Winston-Salem, NC and Cevin Cain of Winston-Salem, NC; her great grandchildren, Cevin Cain, Jackson Cain, Caliyah Cain and Johnell Spann; her great great grandchildren, Jayden Cain, Ariyah Cain, Caidyn Cain, Penelope Spann and Zorah Spann; her nieces, Val Jean Cain Grant and Brenda Cain Lyons; and her close friends, Lorraine Barringer and Rev. Dee McCullough. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
