As Hazel departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Hazel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Hazel leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Green and Emma M. Green; her husband John Preston Davis; and her brothers, Horace Clayton Green and William Ary Green (Marie Frank Green).
She is survived by: her sons, John Preston Davis, Jr. and Norman Leslie Davis; and her sister Veealice Green Hutchinson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rowan Memorial Park (4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Hazel's memory to Cabarrus County Hospice.
