He was predeceased by: his father Euite Thompson Thomas; and his siblings, Edith Young, Mildred Kimble, Charles Thomas, Ralph Thomas, George Thomas and Tamara Honeycutt.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Honeycutt Thomas; his children, Debra Thomas Hinson (Richard) of Star, NC and Jeffrey Thompson Thomas (Becky Taylor Thomas) of Woodleaf, NC; his grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Hinson (Julie Purser Hinson), Brandy Teague (Wesley) and Bradley James Thomas (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Madeline, Julia, Aubrey, Ella Hinson, Gracelyn, Emmitt and Annie Thomas.
