Norton of Chicago, IL and Elder Nicholas Norton; her grandchildren, Freeman Malichi Norton, Hendricks Douglas Norton and Phoenix Elizabeth Norton; her siblings, Latricia Hollis of Salisbury, NC, Cynthia Hendrick of Salisbury, NC, A. C. Hendrick, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Grayling Hendrick of Salisbury, NC; her aunts, Alice McKenzi, Ida Gunn, Linda Roberts, Whilamena Patrick and Virginia Benton; her uncle William Shaw (Annie); and her sister-in-law Betty Russell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the United House (501 Old Concord Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
