She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lamont Ryan, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Wands Ryan. She is survived by: her husband Allen W. Carter, Jr.; her son Ryan; her daughter-in-law Elisabeth; her granddaughter McKayla; her brother Robert Lamont Ryan, Jr.; her nephew Scott Ryan (Leighann) of Columbia, SC; her close friends, Marsha and Tim Hartzoge; Ashland Ada Ryan. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, two nieces, one nephew.
