With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Hudgins (Salisbury, North Carolina), born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Octavia Summerlin Patton and William Melvin Patton; and her daughter Clare Hudgins Long. She is survived by: her husband Jesse Hudgins; and her daughters, Brenda Newsome of Spencer, NC, Debra Ann Houston (Frankie) of Rockwell, NC, Eva Schumacher of Salisbury, NC and Angela Michaels (Lee) of Lexington, NC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
