She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Calloway and Bertha Shepherd Calloway; her husband Clarence Bennett Cooper, Sr.; and her sons, Clarence Bennett Cooper, Jr. and Steven Douglas Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Dale Cooper (Belinda) of Summerfield and Shelia Lefler (Barry) of Midland; her daughter-in-law Mary Pat Cooper of Salisbury; and her siblings, John Calloway of Salisbury and Betty Coley of Albemarle. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
