He is survived by: his wife Patty Spry Long; his sons, Jerry Long, Jr. of Texas, Mark Hunt of Concord and Michael Long of Pennsylvania; his stepson Michael Philbeck of Cherryville; his daughters, Robin Leazer of Rockwell and Deb Arrowood of Salisbury; and his stepdaughter Renee Greco of Cherryville. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
