She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Davis and Mattie Wood Davis; her children, Melvin Bookhart and Annieta Bookhart; her siblings, Juanita Tucker, Betty Davis, Edward Davis, Robert Davis and Leroy Davis; and her brothers-in-law, Fred Tucker and James Streater.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Bookhart of Salisbury, NC, Jerry Bookhart (Deloris) of Salisbury, NC, Timothy Bookhart (Nancy) of Martinez, GA and Jonathan Bookhart of Salisbury, NC; and her siblings, Boysie Davis of Salisbury, NC and Peggy D. Streater of Salisbury, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
