He was predeceased by: his father Coy Doty. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Doty; his sons, Jason Lee Doty (Amy) of Durham and Christopher Jaret Doty (Abby) of Rockwell; his siblings, Coy Doty, Jr. (Rosemary) of Clemmons and Robin Justice of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, Cooper, Avery, Sophia and Olivia Doty.
