It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Calvin Hicks of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Hicks. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Wooten Hicks; his son Travis Martin Hicks (Courtney) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Hayden Fisher Hicks and Ava Lynn Hicks; and his brothers, Craig Hicks of Granite Quarry, Chris Hicks of Columbia, SC and Daryl Hicks of Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
