He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Rusher and Essie Mahaley Rusher; his wife Geneva Shuping Rusher; his son-in-law Wayne Hoffman; and his siblings, James, Willie, Clyde, Paul, Glenn, Worth, Robert Rusher and Mae Snider.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hoffman and Mike Rusher (Debra); and his grandsons, Matthew Hoffman and Mark Rusher.
